Phase I: Steering group meeting in Rennes

Partners took the occasion to meet Rennes' Local Support group and exchanged their ideas on the project in general and ideas on the Download LC-FACIL - Rennes meeting LSG (2.93 MB).

In their work session partners received a representative of the MS/I management team, from the French Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and the Sea, who introduced the process and the state of the Reference Framework.

Two major steps of work had been done during the development phase: the set up and  Download LC-FACIL - Rennes meeting presentation Baseline Study (371.13 KB) by all partners and the first definition of each cities' plans for local support group and local action plans.

Partners had a chance to visit the city centre, to receive information on the large public library project "Champs Libres" and visited one regenerated housing area, a recently developed settlement at the fringe of Rennes(-City) and one of the 37 towns building the Rennes-Metroples area. All developments aimed at a sustainable growth and the opportunity for social diversity.
