Circular Economy
Cities are heavily dependent on external resources to meet the demands of their citizens. At the same time, cities are also responsible for the largest amount of generated waste. Urban administrations therefore have a crucial role in the development of the circular economy, where the value of products, materials and resources is maintained in the economy for as long as possible, and the generation of waste minimised.
