Phase I: Kick-off meeting in Leipzig

As an Download LC-FACIL - Kick-off meeting European commission (59.37 KB) a representative of the European Commission / DG Regio, explained about the follow-up process of the Leipzig Charter and about the development process of the "Reference framework for sustainable cities".

Partners presented themselves and started a first discussion on the project topics, based on the introduction but als on their own experiences in the field. As a result first aims and objectives of the project could be defined.

Thursday 2nd was rounded up by a guided tour through Leipzig’s city centre followed by a common dinner.
The Friday evening tour was led through the priority area of integrated urban renewal "Leipziger East" end and ended in one of Leipzigs most vibrant areas “Südvorstadt”. On Saturday the site visit led into another priority area for integrated urban renewal the "Leipziger West End" on the traces of the EU Community Initiative URBAN II.
