In a paper presented for the symposium 'Towards New Territorial Governance' run by the European Parliament Urban Housing Intergroup on September, 15th 2008 in Reims, Claude Jaquier analyzes the Urban Governance concept.
Claude Jacquier is Director of research for the CNRS ('Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique') and works on sustainable urban development and governance. He has also been an URBACT Expert since 2004. Claude Jacquier's paper deals with the diverging definitions, aims and needs and socio-political aspects of the urban governance concept. Read more:
