International expert and consultant with rich experiences in economy, management, education, travel, tourism and culture. He worked as researcher, University lecturer, minister of tourism, director of national tourist board, economic and political counselor, business consultant and entrepreneur. Mr. Sirse has been working last 15 years in many EU programmes: IPA, ENPI, EuropeAid, CBC-Cross-Border Cooperation, INTERREG, Transnational cooperation, URBACT, Leonardo da Vinci, Youth in Action, Intelligent Energy, Culture, ERSF, ESF. All projects have been performing in international, multicultural environment and with partnership across Europe. Lately, he was involved in projects in EU countries, in SE Europe and in Caucasus. Mr Sirse is speaking several foreign languages.
Mr Sirse is URBACT lead expert in pilot transfer project »Gastronomic cities«. The project is focused on transfer of good practice of gastronomy as a tool for tourism, economic and cultural development that was developed in Burgos (ES). Mr Sirse prepared baseline study, methodology and feasibility studies for transfer of good practice to 4 cities: Fermo (IT), Korydallos (GR), Alba Iulia (RO) and Hospitalet (SE) and guidelines for pilot implementation and LAP – Local Action Plans in 4 receiving cities.
