Edited on
20 June 2019The Swedish Infoday took place in Stockholm on 17-18 November 2014. Participants were able to learn about URBACT, Network experiences and about URBACT III.
The infoday included a variety of guests from all over Sweden such as city representatives, managing authorities and others interested in sustainable urban development policies. Participants had the opportunity to learn about URBACT, the programme, URBACT II results, and meet and interact with other participants.
On 17 November, the afternoon session of the infoday was reserved for partners of ongoing networks. Partners were able to exchange their experiences and discuss their Local Action Plans as well as ways of improvement.
On 18 November, the Infoday started with an introduction by the Swedish Association of Local Municipalities and Regions. It was then followed by a presentation of the Urban development perspective in Europe by the organization JPI Europe. URBACT Thematic Pole Manager Peter Ramsden, then led with a presentation on Integrated Urban Development in Europe. URBACT in a Nutshell and URBACT II results were shared with the participants and URBACT III was introduced, which gave an overview on how cities can participate in the call. Furthermore, representatives from URBACT Networks in Sweden discussed their exchanges and experiences.
