URBACT at the Urban Development Network event Smart, Innovative & Sustainable urban mobility - November 23 in Brussels

The European Commission (DGREGIO(link is external) and DGMOVE(link is external)) is organising an URBAN DEVELOPMENT NETWORK(link is external) event on 23 November in Brussels bringing together cities to exchange knowledge and experiences in Smart, Innovative & Sustainable urban mobility.

The event Smart, Innovative & Sustainable urban mobility will bring together the European Innovation Partnership for Smart Cities and Communities(link is external) (EIP Smart cities), transport innovators and cities investing European Structural and Investment Funds on urban mobility challenges. 

URBACT will be present with a stand and will discuss its results on urban mobility during the sessions of dialogue with European actions in urban mobility together with INEA(link is external), CIVITAS(link is external), EIP Smart cities (Urban Mobility Action Cluster) at the marketplace. 

The event will take place on the 23rd of November 2016 in Brussels at: Les Ateliers des Tanneurs, Rue des Tanneurs 58-62. 
 
 
 
 

URBACT is pleased to take part to the event Smart, Innovative & Sustainable urban mobility. 

Attendance in this highly interactive workshop will offer you an opportunity to meet cities, innovative demonstration projects, practitioner networks, financing organisations, the European Innovation Partnership for Smart Cities(link is external) (the Urban Mobility Cluster) and/or cities investing Structural Funds on urban mobility challenges. 
You will be able to learn about the state of the art in innovative and tested urban transport solutions like electric buses, cleaner logistics, shared mobility, walking and cycling, and new mobility services. Urban mobility experts and experienced practitioners will bring in their knowledge on the development and implementation of innovative mobility solutions, on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans(link is external) (SUMPS), on financing (European Investiment Bank(link is external) and private investors) and on tools for knowledge sharing (e.g. CIVITAS(link is external) and URBACT).
The European Commission will update you on the latest developments in the field of Urban Mobility and will offer you the possibility to meet different players from across the EU that can help you developing and implementing your urban mobility plans and smart solutions.
The event will take place on 23 November at Les Tanneurs in Brussels. The event is organised back to back with the annual meeting of the 6 Action Clusters of the European Innovation Partnership for Smart Cities(link is external) and the on 22 November 2016 (registration here(link is external)).
