First Outreach workshop, Glasgow 13 to 15 May 2009

From 13 to 15 May, the partner cities and a number of youths gathered in Glasgow to participate in a workshop on Outreach. To get an understanding of Glasgow's working methods on Outreach, the city provided the partner cities with site visits.

Glasgow provided site visits to:

  • the Blochairn facility, which accommodates the control centre for the city’s CCTV network, to discuss the theme ´Intelligence Led Assessment and Support´
  • Ibrox Stadium, home of Rangers Football Club, with focus on ´Mentoring and person Centred Support
  • a construction training facility which is a company linked to Glasgow City Council, to learn about ´Employability and training placements´
