Take part in URBACT's Enter.Hub Network Final Conference and discover experiences of cities in High Speed Railway hubs. Join Enter.Hub in Reggio Emilia, Italy on 26-27 February 2015!

The Enter.Hub network aims to develop innovative planning tools in enhancing urban planning and city policies through strengthening and widening of the railway systems in order to reach a sustainable urban and territorial development. This is being done through analyzing the economic, cultural and social inducts of railway hubs of regional relevance. The project is lead by Reggio Emilia (IT) and includes the partner cities of Ciudad Real (SP), Creil (FR), Gdynia (PL), Girona (SP), Łódź (PL), Lugano (CH), Orebro (SE), Porto (PR), Preston (UK), Rostock (DE), Ulm (DE).

The main event of the Final Conference will be to facilitate discussions and exchanges among the 12 partners and experts on the six key definitions by the Lead Expert for a High Speed Railway Hub in a medium sized city. Those include: An Urban Icon; an Urban Backbone; a Place for all Stakeholders and Users; a Network of Services; a Red Carpet; a City Lounge. After a debate among the partners, the participants will then have the opportunity to add to the discussions and contribute in the best ways in which a High Speed Railway Hub can have an impact on the city.

The second day of the conference will give participants the possibility to experience the station not only in terms of mobility but testing it out “live” with a concert performance.

Participants will be able to not only meet partners cities, but also individuals from the URBACT secretariat, fellow policy makers and many others involved in urban planning. This is a great opportunity to meet and interact with other individuals in urban infrastructure planning.
