Workshop on URBACT Annual Conference

During the URBACT Annual Conference LC-FACIL discussed the current state of the implementation of the Leipzig Charter and notably the development process of the Reference framework with the Member States and Institutions group, Eurocities and the URBACT-people. 

Whereas the defined future aim of the reference frame is a "non-binding" and voluntary tool helping cities to assess and implement integrated, sustainable urban development, some participants argued that a stronger role of the reference framework would help to foster its implementation in countries where the set off is still at an initial stage.
