During one of the bilateral meetings Prevent organized during the first semester of 2014, Usti visited Nantes (17/18th of February). The visiting team consisted of the local coordinator (municipality worker) and two UlSG members, the represantants of NGO called "People in Need".

After the two days, Tereza Dostolova, Usti’s local coordinator (on the right of the photo) summarized in a few words what could be interesting and inspiring for their own local level such as some tools that could help change the school to be a more positive place that brings parents and teachers together.
These tools can be regular informal meetings for parents and school staff, the creation of joint projects (parents and teachers), etc. There is still a lot to do for changing the climate of the school so that the school ceased to be a place for parents where only problems are solved.
Usti could also use instruments by which the city and the school involve parents in school activities. These representatives of parents closely cooperate with the school, bridge the gap between parents and the school. Parents will then become the active stakeholders who have more influence on their children's educational careers.
