Roughly 20 years of solid and unique experience in demanding transformation projects in the social welfare and health care industry. The projects have comprised topics related to prevention, active aging, youth, digitalization, new data sources, data-driven social welfare & healthcare, and management system mechanisms reform in big and medium-sized cities and municipalities. Currently working as an RDI team lead in LAB UAS and responsible for national and international research, development, and innovation projects, focusing on health promotion, intelligent self-care, human-driven first-stage customer guidance, and data-driven preventive social welfare & healthcare. I am also a pioneer in health and well-being self-assessment-based preventive customer guidance solutions in Finland (e.g. mynavigo). The preventive customer guidance solutions are specifically developed for youth and older adults. After a successful implementation and positive research results, e.g., usability, utilizability, and customer satisfaction, the methods are systematically used in some of the biggest Finnish municipalities and welfare districts (e.g. in Päijät-Sote, Vantaa, Espoo, etc.). Additionally, I have also been responsible for planning a comprehensive agetech-solution (SmartCare) for older adults in one of the biggest HIS suppliers in the Nordics, collaborating with an extensive network of IoT market leaders.
