Gaetano Mollura Italian architect, project manager of the Urban Planning Council Department of Naples ( Italy) and expert in Urban Integrated Approach Development, Gaetano has been implicated since 1994 in major European Programmes promoted by the European Commission in the framework of the Urban Development Policies (URBAN I and URBACT I and II).
As Project manager of Naples URBAN Programme , has been responsible for the activities of coordination, monitoring and accountability of projects provided in Measure 3 (Infrastructures and Environmental) .
As Lead Partner of three URBACT Thematic Networks, SUDEST - Sustainable Development of Sea Towns ; CTUR , Cruise Traffic and Urban Regeneration ; USEACT Urban Sustainable Environmental Actions and as Partner of other several Thematic Networks ( Participando, Regenerando, Culture, CHORUS , HerO,) has supported exchange of experiences between Projects cities - European and non-European - and implemented several topics of the Urban Integrated Approach Policies and related Local Action Plans, bottom up development - processes. Actually he is the Lead Partner coordinator of the USEAct Thematic Network (closure end of June 2015).
As expert attached to the URBACT I French Secretariat (freelance position) gave provision of expertise to the cities of new Member States in the framework of the Support for Cities project.
Through his various activities in the field of project management, as well as the organization and facilitation of participatory development processes, he has developed excellent moderation and communication expertise as well as organizational and coordination skills.
