Kinga Kovacs holds a BA in Economics and an MSc in Urban Environmental Management. She has over 13 years of experience in transnational cooperation and management of European projects. Her main domain of expertise is citizen engagement, co-creation of public space and integrated initiatives (CONCERTO projects, Smart Cities, sustainable neighbourhoods). She has developed skills in peer learning exchange among local authorities, organisation of study tours, European communication and dissemination of events and project results and organisation of international workshops, etc. Kinga has coordinated projects funded under the LIFE programme, INTERREG, H2020, the previous Intelligent Energy Europe programmes and leaded Work Packages in several Smart Cities and CONCERTO projects.
