Jonas Scholze is Executive Director of the German Association for Housing, Urban and Spatial Development and also represents the National URBACT Point for Germany and Austria. He has been working for many years in Brussels with a focus on the EU urban policy development and implementation. Jonas is the coordinator of the German and Austrian URBAN-Network, which is an exchange platform for cities, regions national ministries and the European Commission on the implementation of EU-funded urban development projects. Jonas previously worked for both the European Parliament and the OECD-LEED Programme before. He currently lives in Belgium and enjoys the Belgian way of life.
