I am the director of the ProjectWorks association based in Brussels and registered as an expert for the Urbact programme, DG Regio and DG EAC. I have lived, studied and worked in Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Spain and the UK, and keep a small passport collection. My studies include post-graduate degrees from the Barcelona School of Architecture and Urban Planning, in urban planning and development. I have been providing consultation and support services, concerning local development, employment and inclusion, for some two decades all over the EU and in the Eastern Partnership countries. I’ve occasionally dabbled as a part-time university lecturer. I am currently Lead Expert of JobTown 2, and was previously of JobTown, OPENCities and InteGROW. Among the publications I have written there are those from the URBACT networks I have been in, two well received publications on Youth Employment for the SALTO-Youth network: ‘On Track’, and ‘Inclusion Through Employability’, and ‘Realise: Addressing overqualification of skilled immigrants in the European Union’.
