16 February 2015The major of Barakaldo, Alfonso Garcia, says that "the protection of undeveloped land and the reuse of existing urban areas is a strategy essential for the development and growth of sustainable cities".
The City of Barakaldo (Bizkaia) has organized for Thursday an information day about the future of the city, "it is important to act on existing buildings, in order to transform the city without using soil." The initiative: 'Towards a Strategic Plan for Integrated Sustainable Urban Regeneration', will take place at 18.00 in the Civic Center Clara Campoamor.

El alcalde de Barakaldo, Alfonso García, se muestra convencido de que "la protección del suelo no urbanizado y la reutilización de las áreas urbanas existentes son estrategias fundamentales para el desarrollo y crecimiento sostenible de las ciudades"
El Ayuntamiento de Barakaldo (Bizkaia) ha organizado para este jueves una jornada informativa y de reflexión sobre el futuro urbanístico de la ciudad, que "pasa irremediablemente por actuar sobre los edificios existentes, es decir, por transformar la urbe sin consumir suelo". La iniciativa, bautizada como 'Hacia un Plan Estratégico de Regeneración Urbana Sostenible Integrada', tendrá lugar a las 18.00 horas en el Centro Cívico Clara Campoamor.
