URBACT's next programming period (2021 - 2027) is starting to take shape and we need your help!
Edited on
27 February 2020We have started the preparation work for the design of the URBACT IV Cooperation Programme. As a first step, we are launching the Cities’ Needs Analysis survey to gather knowledge on the interest of cities and understand the upcoming urban hot topics in Europe. City practitioners, civil servants, organisations representing cities, national, managing authorities of EU funds… you are all welcome to respond to the survey, regardless of their previous involvement in URBACT activities.
As a European Territorial Cooperation programme, URBACT seeks to keep reinforcing the effectiveness of the Cohesion Policy, thus, the promoting exchange of experiences, increasing capacities and identifying, transferring and capitalising on sustainable and integrated urban practices. While also supporting actions and complementing further initiatives that are foreseen in the European Regional Development Funds regulations (ERDF) and other elements, which are relevant to European urban context. Notably the European Urban Initiative, the Urban Agenda for the EU, the EU Green Deal and the revision of the Leipzig Charter.
