Download The Urbact Tribune 2010 (6.21 MB)", a document entitled "Can European cities grow smarter, sustainable and inclusive?" gathering articles written by URBACT Lead Experts. This year again, the articles reflect on the state of play in the URBACT projects and the diversity of the challenges facing European cities. Read "The URBACT Tribune" now available online.
URBACT programme is running at full speed. Over the past year, 35 URBACT projects, involving over 280 partners, have been up and running, some starting their transnational exchange activities, others completing their projects and delivering conclusions and Local Action Plans.
We have asked the URBACT Project Lead Experts to write articles describing the work achieved by the projects as well as the partners' approaches to a wide range of challenges that the cities face today. You will find in the URBACT Tribune eleven selected articles reflecting the diversity of the subjects tackled by the cities within the URBACT context: knowledge hotspots, inclusive growth, demand-led workforce, long-term care, plugging in to go green, new social deal, securing housing, cities of tomorrow, multifunctional regeneration…
