Torino's markets go 2.0

Torino has given its fresh food markets a new edge with a website helping promote its local markets.

Torino's splendid markets have gone 2.0 thanks to a new website that promote the city's near 40-odd markets to new audiences and especially younger shoppers. The new website is colourful and interactive. Torino is part of the URBACT Markets project that aims to develop cities harnessing the power of markets to renew city centres, create employment and wealth and finally create more sustainable, zero km cities.
