Strategic Plan already bears fruits with courses for stall holders

During the process of preparing the Strategic Plan for Barcelona's Markets, stakeholders have been saying again and again that stall holders need more training, especially regarding business management.
Now the Institute of Markets has teamed up with development agency Barcelona Activa to prepare a set of 3-hour-long courses that deal with new technologies, business management, new trends and other key skills. A first pilot scheme will run for stall holders in 3 district's markets until June. The move shows how preparing a strategic plan can bring about real actions to improve city markets.
