Starting Jobtown Second Phase

10 February 2015Following European Commission’s approval, the project Jobtown entered its second phase, which will go on for 27 months more.
With a partnership of 10 European Municipalities and one University, this phase will bring local administrations to commit themselves for the creation of collaborative networks and discussion table with stakeholders directly engaged in youth unemployment issues.
In order to make the partnership effective, the network will work on ongoing models of cooperation, thus creating and supervising local groups aiming at enhancing youth employment through the engagement of employers, educational institutions and professional schools, services’ supplier and decision makers engaged with vocational training, recruiters, private and public employment agencies,
educational entertainer, vocational guidance and youth centres and organizations, local and regional authorities and institutions.
The project envisages several meetings between partners but also between administrations and the Commission too, to pursue the final objective to address strategies and proposal to land’s youth unemployment issue.
Kick-off meeting for second phase will be held in Cesena, the 28th March.
