Show Case Meeting of URBACT Transfer Network Re-growCity in Altena, Germany
Since April 2018, the city of Altena has been lead partner of a transfer network of the European URBACT program.
Together with seven cities from Latvia, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Hungary, Greece and Italy, we try to make solutions tangible and implement concrete projects such as pop-up shops to combat vacancies and platforms of volunteers’ work.
We are pleased to present the results of our work during a three-day event in Altena in June 2020. Our conference will take place on June 19, 2020. We like to welcome interested people you to participate and gain impulses for your work.
Our show case is a combination of lectures and workshops, as well as a practical part in the form of a new edition of the pop-up shops in Altena. It gives cities the opportunity to present their special features and successes of the project. This includes not only conference participants and visitors, but also the entire city population who are allowed to discover the new shops and who are lured into the city center by an entertainment program.
