In Sofia, an association organizes all kind of initiatives where parents and pupils participate: a chance to involve parents in their children's education.

Mrs Tzveta Brestnishka, president of association of parents in Dimitar Popnikolov school (88th) and member of Prevent Local Group of Sofia, thinks that involvement of parents must be in the “everyday agenda of the school” and not only during dedicated projects. That’s why school 88 doesn’t only participate to the annual event of “Familatlon” but also organize all along the year initiatives like food exhibition, cultural or sport events where parents and students participate in mixted teams with the help of teachers and an active support from the headmaster.
