Partners on study visit to Torino as project nears completion

URBACT Markets partners are to visit Torino’s markets next October 6-7 as the project moves towards its completion.

Partners will visit and learn from some of Torino’s finest markets: Pavese market, to learn about the integration of this market in its neighbourhood, and Chieti market, to see the so-called ‘Fa Bene’ social project. Partners will also take part in workshops to analyse the project’s process at what is a critical stage, especially regarding local action plans. 

One of the highlights of the visit is to Porta Palazzo market, the biggest in Turin, to study 0km supply chains and local produce sales and how immigrants can find their place in Torino’s markets. 

The final working session will address the very important point of final the project’s outputs, especially agreeing on format and content, and a summary of the next steps for URBACT Markets.
