Participate in Launching Event of URBACT Thematic Reports in Brussels

09 February 2015URBACT with the support of Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission is organising a launching event of a series of six new URBACT thematic reports "Cities of Tomorrow: Action Today". Published as a result of URBACT capitalisation process these reports focus on key urban challenges. The launching event will take place in Brussels in the European Commission Albert Borschette Conference Centre on Tuesday 18 June 2013, 11:00-14:00. Come and debate the big issues facing European cities with our expert panel and take the opportunity to submit your own questions. Register now!
New Series of URBACT Thematic Reports: Cities of Tomorrow – Action Today
Prefaced by the European Commissioner for Regional Policy, Johannes Hahn, these 6 thematic reports provide evidence of sustainable urban development strategies pulling together the environmental, social and economic pillars of the Europe2020, while also adopting an integrated and participative approach.

Don't Miss the Unique Launching Event in Brussels
During the event participants will be introduced with the main findings of each report and URBACT capitalisation process in general. A panel discussion between URBACT experts and political representatives will also take place as well as a networking lunch, where participants will have a chance to meet authors of publications and discuss the relevant urban issues.
The launching event is open to political representatives, decision-makers, urban experts and practitioners, as well as other related stakeholders from EU institutions, partner programmes and organisations, civil society organisations and academia. European Commissioner for Regional Policy Johannes Hahn will also attend this launching event.
