URBACT III 1st call for Implementation Networks has been launched!

23 March 2016URBACT, the European programme for integrated urban development, is pleased to announce that a new call for Implementation Networkswas launched on the 22 of March. The deadline for submitting applications is 22 June 2016.
These new networks aim at supporting cities with the delivery of integrated urban strategies and action plans. Taking part in an Implementation Network, cities will share experiences and good practices, by working together on improving their strategies and action plans and generate new ideas to address challenges related to sustainable urban development.
More specifically, the call targets the cities from the EU 28 Member States, Norway and Switzerland that already have an integrated urban strategy/ action plan addressing a specific policy challenge and secured funding to finance the implementation of this strategy/ action-plan.
The available budget per network is between EUR 600.000€ – 750.000€, depending on the number of partners, with an extra envelope of EUR 127.000 € for expert support. Up to 15 Implementation Networks will be selected during this call.
