The website is part of the city's strategic plan for markets, especially aimed at boosting the local economy, creating employment and new business.
The city of Torino has launched a new website to englobe all its markets offering.
The easy-to-use site (mercati.comune.torino.it) lists all the city's markets and features news about local produce, activities and events. The site, which was featured in a number of articles in Italian newspapers, is designed to give markets more prominence amongst shoppers.
