SMART CITIES 2nd meeting at Santurtzi (Basque Country SP)
Edited on
17 February 2015The 2nd meeting of the Project took place on the 17th and 18th of September at the Casa Torre Palace (Santurzi – Basque Country SP).
The main objectives of the meeting were: to complete the partnership; to progress the baseline study; to clarify the main themes and challenges the city partners wish to address; to plan the work programme for the implementation phase; and to deal with any ongoing administrative issues. And, of course, to meet with the new partners.
The new project partners attended the meeting and gave a snapshot of their cities/ institutions as well about their expectations regarding SMART CITIES project key point focus.
Peter Ramsden made a presentation about using coproduction to innovate in service delivery with new examples of how cities are using coproduction as a method of social innovation.
The Project WorkPlan was subject of extensive analysis and dialogue.
Santurtzi and Innovalab gave us the opportunity to visit the Denokinn Social Innovation Park and to have a work session there.
Lively and very participate work sessions, followed by informal and friendly socializing times after work, fulfilled the two days of the meeting’s agenda.
A brief of the 2nd meeting ‘work notes’ is available in Our Outputs.
