Cross River Partnership will be launching Sustainable Urban Markets in London at the NABMA annual national conference later this month.

The publication puts forward proposals for enhancing the contribution that London’s street and covered markets already make to our high streets, town centres and local economies. The proposals were co-developed by CRP with members of the Sustainable Urban Markets project, Co-Chaired by Will Fulford and Helen Santer. The SUM project has been supported by the European Union through the URBACT programme, which promotes markets as drivers of local regeneration. NABMA is the leading markets organisation in the UK and promotes markets on the national scale as well as providing a portfolio of  services for its members.
