Packed schedule features visits to iconic markets

The next partnership meeting for URBACT Markets partners will take place July 17-19th in London, the partner city leading the sustainable urban markets working package. One of the main objectives for the two day visit is to help partners move forward with their Local Action Plans (LAPs), so there’ll be special sessions to review what the LAP should look like and to review where partners are in their LAP development. Importantly, partners will discuss what they want their final output publication to look like and how they want to document their knowledge generation. London will also be showcasing some of their best practices and organising visits to Borough Market, Camden Lock Market, Lower Marsh Market and Spitfields. There’ll also be a session on funding opportunities for partner projects and a review of the recently held International Week of Markets, amongst other points.
