05 August 2015On 24th March 2015 we held the conference “Open ¦ Social ¦ Design: Innovation in Cities”, a consolidation event of the Genius: Open project. The event was held in the Guildhall in York, a unique 15th century building that served as a meeting place for the guilds of York.
Speakers from different backgrounds and countries gave an international and varied flavour to the conference as well as a colourful picture of what “Innovation in Cities” means. Furthermore, a set of thematic workshops were offered to the attendees to “see in practice” some of the ideas raised during the previous talks and presentations. Lessons learned throughout the transfer process were shared as well as the new version of the open innovation model our project document library).
