The Education Festival for parents in the Hague

09 February 2015At 20 April 2013, the city council of The Hague organised the 'Education Festival for Parents' for the second time. This event is for all parents with children up to 12 years and is organised in cooperation with school boards and a local educational consultancy company.
This year 3700 parents and children visited the festival. By means of an information market, a walk-in consultation and workshops, parents were informed on all things children do and learn at primary school and on how they can contribute to the development of their children. There were also educational, cultural and sporting activities for kids. At the end of the day, the deputy mayor for education and 55 parents had a discussion on education in The Hague.
