BoostINNO signed Call for Action to continue work on Social Innovation

During the BoostINNO cities' Mayors Summit in Paris, in the context of the Global Social Business Summit, on 7th November 2017 10 partner cities signed in Call for Actions to continue work on social innovation.

BoostINNO partners Baia Mare (Romania), Barcelona (Spain), Braga (Portugal), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), Skåne County (Sweden) City and Eurometropole of Strasbourg (France), Turin (Italy), and Wroclaw (Poland), Gdańsk- Lead partner (Poland), by signing document, confirmed vital role of cities, especially in their role as brokers and stimulators of social innovation. For over two years, 10 partners were working together and exchanging ideas and inspirations to boost social innovation in cities. Thanks to that each city has strengthened its capacity to act in this domain, and together they want to continue to work together, becoming a source of influence for the EU and worldwide. Mayor’s Summit took place during transnational meeting of BoostINNO. Mayors and elected representatives of partner cities presented samples of social innovations, they are especially proud of. Project Boosting Social Innovation is realized in frame of URBACT III Programme, co-financed from European Regional Development Fund.
