Apply for RegioStars 2013 - The Awards for Regional Innovative Projects

The objective of the RegioStars Awards is to identify good practices in regional development and to highlight original and innovative projects which could be attractive and inspiring to other regions. RegioStars form part of the European Commission's enhanced communication effort proposed in the framework of the ‘Regions for Economic Change’ initiative. The RegioStars 2013 Awards for project supported by EU regional policy were launched in March 2011. Apply now!

There are five RegioStars Award categories for 2013:

1.  SMART GROWTH: Connecting universities to regional growth
2.  SUSTAINABLE GROWTH: Supporting resource efficiency in SMEs
3.  INCLUSIVE GROWTH: Social innovation: creative responses to societal challenges
4.  CITYSTAR CATEGORY: Integrated approaches to sustainable urban development
5.  INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION CATEGORY: Promoting EU Regional policy using short videos

Applications should be sent no later than 20 April 2012.
