The URBACT Secretariat has produced a new issue of The Urbact Tribune. Entitled "URBACT Local Support Groups", this publication gathers articles written by URBACT Lead Experts. This year, the articles reflect on the state of play in the URBACT projects and the involvement of local stakeholders through URBACT Local Support Groups. Read "The URBACT Tribune" now available online.

The URBACT Local Support Groups members are essential partners of the URBACT programme. Each URBACT project partner sets up an URBACT Local Support Group gathering the local stakeholders most concerned by the project issue. These groups contribute to and benefit from the transnational exchanges (elaborating case studies, taking part to seminars, etc.) and above all, they are in charge of elaborating the Local Action Plan.

Articles presented in this URBACT Tribune describe achievements of some URBACT projects in local partnerships and participative approaches. "From these experiences, it is obvious that Local Support Groups have brought about astounding results" explains Mrs Magdalena Skwarska, Counsellor to the Polish Minister of Regional development and Chair of the URBACT Monitoring Committee.

You will find in the URBACT Tribune nine selected articles reflecting the diversity of the subjects tackled by the cities within the URBACT context: private sector partners in electric mobility, involving stakeholders in local policies for the development of historic urban centres, sustainability in transforming youth policy, co-production etc.
