Wolverhampton: LSG activities

The Wolverhampton Local Support Group, wich has a mailing list of forty people representing 25 organizations, met on four occasions

namely: 

  • on January 28th.
  • on March 25th.
  • on April 29th.
  • on May 27th

The Group carried out a "gaps analysis" as well as a prioritisation programme looking at key areas wich needed development. These have been processed into a single document as a work programme for the Group.

LAP goal: increasing interest and resources in enterprices and employment of people over 50.

LAP operational objectives: • development and improvement of vocational guidance services for people over 50 who are either unemployed or at risk of unemployment  or seeking to start a new Business; • to create a network with representatives from all the key agencies involved in job guidance and in job placement.
