Territorial food brands can be an effective instrument to support local quality production based on multiple collaborations, promote socio-economic development by connecting rural and urban areas, stimulate positioning among potentials consumers and facilitate innovation by creating new products and experiences.

In 2021, Slovenia and Coimbra Region celebrate their recognition as European Regions of Gastronomy by the IGCAT.

Culture identity and territorial food brands, food policies, short food supply chains, governance, or environmental resources protection are among other core topics of the FOOD CORRIDORS network.

This webinar aims to think about how programmes such as the European Region of Gastronomy and other initiatives contribute to create and promote territorial food brands.
