Video: Debrecen is Welcoming International Talent

16 October 2020The Hungarian city Debrecen, partner in the Welcoming International Talent project, is welcoming international talents! Check out the video why they are participating in the WIT project and what they aim to achieve.
In this video, the vice mayor Lajos Barcsa explains that the presence of international students and expert workers in Debrecen boosted the creation of the International School in Debrecen and the German School which will be built. These developments are great steps to tackle future challenges with regard to the influx of internationals. Péter Gara, Erasmus institutional coordinator stresses the importance of organizations such as the buddy program and Erasmus Student Network to boost integration and make the international talents feel welcome by the citizens of Debrecen. And Ildikó Pálffy, founder and COO of Easy Debrecen showed that the internationals should be served in a high professional manner and that city-marketing can play a very important role in this. All of these local stakeholders help to make Debrecen a welcoming place for international talents.
