Evangelos Genitsaris: Since 2009, he has managed or/and assisted in more than 13 international & national projects of research, innovation and territorial cooperation. His research & professional interests fall under several topics, indicatively: public transport, flexible transport, strategic planning, logistics, mobility of vulnerable groups, personalised marketing, innovation management, social innovation (examples of projects' participation: METPEX/FP7, SmartMove/IEE, ADB/SEE, FLIPPER/INTERREG IVC). During 2011-2012, he worked on a project with the aim of formulating the strategy the Thessaloniki’s bus operator, while in 2010 he was involved in the study for the organisational restructuring of Thessaloniki’s Transport Authority. OIKOPOLIS award 2017 for the environmental awareness campaign organised by AUTh, in the frame of CIPTEC/H2020 project, in which he worked in the capacity of the Deputy Project Manager. He is a co-author in more than 25 scientific publications being peer-reviewed and he has participated in more than 40 international project meetings, conferences and workshops abroad. Active member of Hellenic Institute of Transport Engineers, participating in various thematic committees and registered member of the Technical Chamber of Greece after exams.
