URBACT's 2018 annual event: the URBACT City Festival
URBACT's flagship event, the URBACT City Festival, will take place on 13-14 September 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The event will showcase the work done in the past 2.5 years by 200 cities gathered in 20 URBACT Action Planning Networks and the capitalisation actions based on these results. It will also put the major challenges of urban development in a wider context – the urban trends that we are observing in Europe and beyond.
The Festival will provide opportunities for cities to network and learn from each other on key topics of integrated urban development.
City practitioners, elected representatives, urban experts from all over Europe will work together for 2 days and celebrate the 15th anniversary of the programme as well as the rising influence of cities as actors of change in Europe.
More than 500 participants are expected for the 3rd edition of the URBACT City Festival. They will be able to create their own Festival path, choosing from over 50 different interactive sessions, among which 16 breakout sessions, 10 walkshops, 6 labs.
