The Urbact Summer University in Rotterdam (Aug 24th to 26th) is off and running.

Plenary lecture packed out Nearly 400 delegates are participating in hands on workshops learning practical skills to deal with key urban challenges of the day.

 

The Urbact Method helps city practitioners learn how to develop and implement sustainable and integrated urban policy - in the areas of social cohesion, job creation, technology and SMEs, and low carbon economies. By the end of the meeting Action Planning Network partner cities will be well placed to develop their integrated action plans - an ongoing task.Professor Mark Boyle, Irish contact point is in attendance. Stay tuned for more updates.
