The URBACT Secretariat is seeking to recruit a Communication Officer for a period of 3 years, starting 1st of September 2015.

Ensuring ongoing and efficient communications on URBACT activities, results and achievements is a key role to be performed through the design and implementation of the programme’s communications strategy. This strategy shall operate at programme level as well as at the level of all networks created by the programme. Communications in URBACT shall cover and serve the main strands of activities of the programme: transnational exchange and learning (networks), capacity-building activities and capitalisation activities. 

Under the responsibility of the Projects Manager, the Communication Officer will play an active role in the following fields of activity: 

  • Development and implementation of the communication strategy
  • Digital communication strategy
  • Partnerships development
  • Programme Implementation activities (reporting, monitoring etc)
