URBACT Programme launches Pilot Training sessions for elected representatives

The URBACT Programme has launched its Pilot Training project dedicated to elected representatives of city partners involved in the 3rd call networks.

The main objective of this action is to develop integrated and sustainable urban policies through supporting city officials during the process of producing Local Actions Plans.

3 seminar will take place in Brussels on 08-10 April, 16-18 September and 02-04 December 2013, and registration is open for all interested partners.

This is an unique opportunity to share experiences with peers from other cities, with key experts, and European officials. 

Seminars/training will be interactive and The participants will develop knowledge and skills in the following fields:

  • Urban analysis, strategy and planning;
  • Integrated policies and approaches;
  • Participative approach;
  • Appraising the sustainability of decisions and policies;
  • Structure and development of EU frameworks relevant for cities (current and upcoming; policy instruments, funding, etc.).
