URBACT Infoday in Norway

20 June 2019The Norwegian Infoday took place in Oslo on 25 November 2014. Participants were able to learn about URBACT, Network experiences and about URBACT III.
The infoday included a variety of guests from all over Norway such as city representatives, managing authorities and others interested in sustainable urban development policies. Participants had the opportunity to learn about URBACT, the programme, URBACT II results, and meet and interact with other participants.
The Infoday started with an introduction by the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation. It was then followed by an introduction to the URBACT programme, which gave an overview on the URBACT method and how cities can benefit. A presentation by Willem van Winder, discussed on the 'New Urban Economies' Furthermore, representatives from URBACT Networks in Norway discussed their exchanges and experiences. An exchange with the audience was organized around the 'Sustainable urban development 2014 - 2020' and on Land Planning.
