URBACT Infoday in Italy

20 June 2019The Italian Infoday took place in Rome, Italy on 13-14 November 2014.
The infoday included a variety of guests from all over Italy such as city representatives, managing authorities and others interested in sustainable urban development policies. Participants had the opportunity to learn about URBACT, the programme, URBACT II results, and meet and interact with other participants.
On 13 November, a special meeting was organized for Italian city partners to share and exchange activites and learnings as well what some contributions could be towards URBACT III.
Presentations on the URBACT programme and on URBACT III were done by Raffaele Barbato, which gave an overview on how cities can participate in the call. Furthermore URBACT Thematic Expert Eddy Adams talked about the results of some of the URBACT networks working on job generation.
