Are you interested in what’s new in sustainable urban development: social innovation, new economies and job creation or urban regeneration? Are you new to URBACT but curious what the programme is about? Are you a member of URBACT community keen to showcase your network results? Do you want to exchange and network with other European Cities? If your answer is yes to any of the above…

Riga
… then you know where you have to be between 6 - 8 of May 2015!

The URBACT City FESTIVAL will present you with top edge content on urban development, will create links with the urban agendas in Europe around the globe and provide you with the opportunity to meet over 400 peers in the field. Celebrating the results of URBACT II, the networks created and the knowledge produced, the festival will set the scene for URBACT III, the new features and activities foreseen for 2014 – 2020.

Participants will be able to build their own Festival and city experience, by selecting though a menu of sessions such as:
We also want to make sure that our participants can have enough space for networking and exchanging so the programme will be completed by networking and social events, partner meet up breakfasts and boards, white space and Riga visits.

Who can take part?
The Festival is an open event designed for practitioners, policy-makers and elected representatives involved in urban development at local, regional, national and EU level. We welcome cities (involved or not in URBACT), project partners and experts, national authorities, EU institutions, research institutions, civil society organisations, and managing authorities of operational programmes.

If you want to learn more about the event and register, check the URBACT City FESTIVAL website.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.

Please note that registrations can close at an earlier date in case of overwhelming number of requests.
