URBACT and ASToN are looking for a part-time Technical Assistant

The ANRU is recruiting a part-time Technical Assistant, to work four days a week. The successful candidate shall support the ASToN project (50%) and URBACT's different tasks (30%).

The ANRU, public industrial and commercial establishment that also manages the URBACT III programme, has partnered with AFD to create a network of African cities around smart city issues (African Smart Towns Network - ASToN). The development of this network will be carried out following the method established by URBACT in Europe. The management, piloting and coordination of ASToN are entrusted to a small team constituted within ANRU and backed by the URBACT Secretariat in terms of methodological resources.

Main duties for this position include:

  • ASToN administrative management
  • ASToN financial management
  • Support to the organisation of events
  • Support to URBACT's Administration and Coordination Unit
  • Support to URBACT's Capitalisation and Communication Unit
