Ileana Toscano mediated the meeting by illustrating the whole project and introducing the Jelgava partners who presented their city with a video and a funny puzzle to be solved all together. Then, with a playful interactive game of Q&A, everyone had the opportunity to contribute with opinions and ideas on some of the issues of the masterclass. Subsequently, Wessel Badenhorst, ad hoc expert of URBACT, focused on the principles of Placemaking, training the working group and then the non-profit association Kallipolis presented the case study panel session with two projects: Part-Y: Lab for equal cities project and Pleinar Project: recreation and sport to regenerate disadvantaged areas and build healthier and happier communities. After that all the partner's cities had the opportunity to present their specific Placemaking projects by finding three locations to be developed using the Playful Paradigm method. Then Wessel took the meeting to the end by presenting some hints and tips for a Playful Placemaking using examples from other cities.
