From July until November LC-FACIL cities will test the "Reference framework for sustainable cities"
The "Version 0" of the Reference framework, which has been presented at the Informal Ministerial Meeting of European Ministers for Housing and Urban Development, will be tested by LC-FACIL cities in several steps along the ongoing updating and improvement of the existing tool.
A larger testing phase of 50-70 European cities, which will be selected by the Member states, is planned from early 2011. The planned procedure foresees a fully completed and final tool to be delivered at the end of 2011 under the Polish Presidency.
